Being like pic related doesn't make you happy though, it makes you get taken for granted.
The only person that made me feel like a somebody threw me away the moment things started getting hard. I can still feel the pain whenever I think about it.
I always treat others with respect and as I'd want to be treated (unless they start treating me like shit).
I do everything I can to help people out when they need my help (until they show me they don't appreciate it).
I forgive people easily if they explain their side of things and aren't obvious shitheads themselves.
Honestly being a good person has got me nowhere in life but I'm still good to anyone new I meet. And that usually ends with people trying to walk all over me and thinking they're above me. So I remain alone. It's just my nature.
