Having a single mother is equivalent to not having a mother. It is living with a young woman, unstable, emotional, unreasonable and insecure.
You have no role model growing up, no direction to be guided in. You become suspectible to any sources of guidance such as street gangs, extremists or, in the best case scenario, 4chan.
Not only do you lack the guidance any child should receive, but you are also the head of the household, and your single mother looks up to you as her role model instead.

Its nature and nurture OP. Just because you didn't have a "male role model" doesn't mean you can blame all your problems on your mom. You're just a natural born pansy.
She did a poor job. Mine did great. Sorry that happened but not all single mothers are failures. If they are failures it's because it's hard to be a single parent. You give up your life for your kid essentially and it's much harder than anything you've ever done OP.
