I was the tallest by like 4 or 5 inches
There was an entire aisle for soy sauce

Any Asians here who can describe their sentiments toward non-Asians visiting Asian places? I love the Asian parts of my city but can never gauge whether the locals like me or not. I'm a paying customer and try to pick up on the social etiquette as best I can, but I can't help but feel like the natives see me as an interloper. It's not like when I visit the Mexican parts; I feel much more welcome there. Background: white, male, 5'11" so I stand out a little.
Hmart is great. Not many young cuties though, mostly postmenopausal prunes.

Asians fat shame like you wouldn't believe. If you're just a big guy like bear mode, then you would seem intimidating though.
I know the girl in OP's pic in real life.
Proof is in the pudding

you can't really generalize.
25% of Asians love whites and half of that demograph would lick your boots. 50% are neutral and will judge you by your actions. 25% will hate you. Most won't voice it unless you do something egregious. Obviously, if you're good looking, rich, smart, w/e universally positive characteristic, more people will like you.
It also depends on the store. Americanized Asian stores like H Mart won't give a shit at all. Some store you find in an alley in the deepest part of Chinatown... maybe not.
I don't think 5'11'' stands out at all unless you'er with old people.
t. 5'11'' Asian

H mart is nice and clean compare to other asian super markets, but it's pretty expensive senpai.

I live in Texas, my options are few

(Op here) I'm 6'4" so I stood out quite a bit
Also I was wandering like an idiot so I was probably still getting judged

That's a relief, my city features mostly jungle Asians: Filipino, Vietnamese, Cambodians, so 5'11 is a little above average where they predominate. At least contrasted with north Asians like northern Chinese, who average around my height. Helps to know there's no overreaching opinion on outsiders in Chinatown.
