I'd like to take a moment to reflect on the state of each these respective classrooms.
Black classroom:

In polite society, we don't do this shit, but le roast is currently popular amongst normies and internet kids.

That image is giving me PTSD from when I was in a middle school in Chicago. I had to be in normal classrooms for a few days until they got my standardized test scores and they moved me out into the gifted program that was literally in a different building that looked like a bunker and was all white.
Holy fuck I thought I was going to die for those few days I spent in the normal classroom.

I used to get made fun of at my work all the time for not dressing as sharp as the other people, having cheap things, not being in a relationship. I don't think it's mean spirited, it's just lazy humor that has the side effect of making a person uncomfortable. One time I bit back and was told (in a serious tone) "um, you can't say that." I was thinking, is this guy for real?
Eventually it reached the point it was happening daily and I started eating my lunch at my desk, limiting conversations to actual work, started looking at other places to work. After a couple weeks I think they picked up and stopped doing it and I started being more conversant.
The people who say "it's just banter" are right to an extent, but after a certain point it basically becomes harassment. Especially when it's happening to the same person, over and over again.
it's called a pecking order. social animals do it all the time, using minor aggression to establish social hierarchy.
Some normies get upset when you bite back because they don't feel you understand how the social order should be: they are your betters, not the other way around.
Out of social exclusion, the pariahs end up bonding with each other. They have nothing in common but their own feelings of chronic rejection. But they put up with each others bullshit, turn blind eyes to each other's glaring character flaws, and show loyalty to each other because the bonding with losers is the only thing in life that actually feels good.
Over time this sense of togetherness and responsibility and empathy makes these people more mature, and they begin to look down on lesser normies who remain mean spirited and secretly hateful of the people they are closest to. So rejection by the normie becomes rejection of the normie.
And this is how nerd cliques, spergy skypejerks and imageboards function and persist.
