Yeah, he's been hurt by life; lost his mom in early childhood, had an alcoholic/abusive dad and always felt an outsider even though he has a lot of friends that constantly ask for his company. I always tell him he's a jaded old man stuck in a 20 something body, such a classic tsundere too.
I got a lot of patience for people I care about, it's almost a fault. I've only unintentionally hurt him and it wasn't pretty, couldn't imagine if I actually betrayed his trust. Fuck that.
