Why is being cynical considered a bad thing by normies? Is it because they don't want somebody revealing to them that life isn't a happy wonderland where you can do anything and backstab someone without consequences?

Everyone is cynical, there's just an unspoken agreement not to reveal it.

This
vocalizing it all the time just makes you seem like a wet blanket or a soppy cunt. We all know life sucks.

Living in a world where everyone who isn't fine forces everyone else who also isn't fine to pretend they're fine makes no sense
It's not really a bad thing. A few years ago I'd think about how shitty I felt everything was and how I was unhappy, lonely most the time, it made me think about the interactions I did have with people.
If I'm not fine, why lie and say good? So I just became this negative fuck and would be honest about it. It upsets some people. But if you're just upsetting people that want you to feel bad or like shit it's just a vicious circle but they started it so it's kind of interesting to see who takes their side when they're acting like a wet blanket too.

By that logic, I know what happy looks like, maybe they should start keeping it to themselves.
