Let's assume for a second that this measurement of personality is effective. Although the categories given are a good measurement themselves, the test itself offers only 16 possible combinations as to personality types. The entire depth of personality in a world of 7 billion smart apes is placed definitively into a mere 16 categories. I don't buy it. These tests must have been designed as a lesson for auto-fellatio.

The actual underlying theory from which MBTI was derived from was not an attempt to categorize different people based on their behavior, but to explain the fundamental preferences in cognition between different people. In otherwords, MBTI is not so much a personality test as much as it a poor attempt at cramming a bad social science theory (which has been partially proven anyway) into a 5 minute test not to figure out your personality, but how you think.

Ah, I can see that being the case. To retool my previous statement, I feel that the results are still often touted as personality results which is ultimately what I have a problem with. I don't think the test is worthless. I did some cursory research and saw that it was probably effective at giving a basic framework of behaviors, but I feel many people think it's more than that (myself included until now).

Still just living day to day while I wait for my feeble flesh to burn off the kilograms. The wait is more agonizing than the physical exertion and controlled diet.
I feel fucking paralyzed and helpless, like a prisoner gouging the passage of days out of the wall.
