i think yohji was trying to make a point that facial aesthetics don't matter in fashion (which is somewhat but not entirely true)

Those are two pictures from the same show of the same line by the same designer. Usually, these shows and/or lines have a singular theme and hair/makeup follow that theme. It doesn't reflect actual fashion trends, like 99% of all runway fashion.

I hate runway fashion so much. The only time those clothes ever actually get worn is during fashion week, and then never again.
Then five years later when it's socially acceptable, you'll find cheap knockoffs at H&M.
