Doesn't matter if you took it or what it is. Could even be indoors. How near to you is up to you.
Chocolate kingdom
This is a pretty cool building near where I live
>Edison Tower
Maybe 15 minutes away?
>>28732509
The parking lot is worth more than the building.
>>28732920
what's in the middle?
I live a ten minute train ride away from the Yankee Stadium.

Literally nothing, when you go there it's pretty cool but it's not very exciting. It's pretty much just the building and a nice park to walk around.
There was a little museum type thing on the other side which had some kinda dumb temporary exhibit about robots and technology, there were stupid paper robots made and "programmed" by kids in schools in the area and a VR exhibit thing.
Overall I would say it's a nice place to take pics but not too refined of a tourist location. The building has a very cool history though
close to where I live, but far from an ocean.
this might be better
This is part of an abandoned dock at the end of a 3 mile walk through the woods. It's probably 4 miles from my house total and I walk the whole way. The walk back was pretty dark
The best place

We might suck at everything else but at least we have hockey.

thanks, google streetview
this isn't anywhere important to anybody else, its just a place near me that I know pretty well.
Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It's about an hour and a half from where I live. Visiting my dad over in West Michigan today and took a drive over to the city earlier tonight. Thought about going to a bar but didn't want to be an autist and lug my helmet around everywhere. Ended up going back to my dad's place. Probably gonna drink a little and go to sleep.
90 minutes drive from my house. Bandung, Indonesia

Fuck man I wanna travel through SEA and Asia so badly
That part of the world just seems so exciting. The cities seem more organic and flowing compared to the planned grid cities in the us, the forests and beaches seem so much more exciting as well
I would really like to take a solid 3 months off life and just travel around Asia with no plans or goals. That would be so comfy... until shit goes wrong of course
>>28733800
I lived in the Philippines for 4 years. The only shit you should worry about going wrong is anything medical related.
Dunedin nz spot I go surfing sometimes
A trail along a canal in New Jersey. This pic isn't taken super close to where I live, but if you walked in one direction far enough you'd come very close.

Yeah that's what I meant
I went to India with my family once when I was little and it was cool as fuck until I got sick and spent a week throwing up. Even after taking precautions like boiling water and stuff, all the bacteria in another country is just different and your body isn't prepared for it if you were a little kid like me
Perhaps after traveling a lot, this wouldn't happen anymore
>>28733800
I'm: >>28733655. You should go if you can afford it. Haven't spent a whole lot of time in SEA, but I lived in South Asia for a couple years. It definitely isn't for the faint-hearted, but it does have a sort of energy and chaos that I miss profoundly.
Some random pic from a market near the Hanuman Mandir in CP

Do it man. I've been seeing more and more foreign traveller recently. In SEA more people speak english than Japan or Korea so that's a plus i think.

Shit. Posted >>28733870 before reading this.
You get used to it after a few weeks or months. When I was living in Delhi, I'd get minor stomach bugs just about every week. After a while, I stopped getting bothered by food problems and could eat or drink almost anything.
It's nice to not have to worry, but you lose your immunity very fast after leaving.
A bridge that I've considered jumping off many times.

>india
There's your problem. Maybe start with beachy countries and probably avoid eating too much in city slums i think.
My home would be visible in this painting.

Stone street in nyc.
Not my picture, but this was an abandoned Boeing 747 at the now closed Manston airport, about 30 mile away from me. Spent many a good time watching planes at the airport and had a great time walking around this plane taking photographs of it very early one morning two years ago. The plane has since been broken up and the airport site is earmarked for housing.
Boring as fuck.
nothing but straights roads and fields.
