Depends on where you live, honestly. If you're in the southeast US then you'll see very few arabs but a lot of blacks. For whatever reason there are more arabs (in my experience) on the east coast.

Depends highly on their education level and social class. I grew up near Atlanta and there are plenty of apartment complexes filled with people that are just as the stereotypes say, but what people talk about less are the generations of successful and chill Black people who've made names for themselves in the city itself.
