I agree anon but a majority of people do not like bitter and sour tasting things.
That said I do like a fruit based mixer when drinking heavy liquor as opposed to soda or taking straight shots, but that's more to avoid the acetone taste liquor has (especially high proof liquor)
But a nice cold beer goes well with just about any hot food, and its very relaxing. It's also better socially because you can drink more without getting shitfaced like liquor.

its the diversity senpai, all wines are relatively similar in taste but when it comes to beer there are so many different kinds and so many small local broweries that drinking beer never gets old
