We had a McDonalds campaign app in Finland where you got credits for scanning QR codes that were placed in McDonalds ads on bus stops etc. The QR codes were online within 24 hours of the campaign's start and you could scan 5 a day. Some of my fast food loving friends had the QR codes printed out and they just scanned them in the morning. They got tons of free McD's
