Is he right? Did I just cuck my life by not being a wageslave?

Depends on your area but I'm gonna straight up say not even close. Everyone exaggerates their work history except girls who play it way down (since they get low tier jobs so easily, kinda the same as sex really).
Call centers, factories and other big work forces will barely give a shit and graduate jobs pretty much expect you to never have had a job at 22.
That pic man
Thanks for the laughs

Thanks man, I even spoke to my lecturer about this before and he said it's not that big of a deal. I think that asshole who told me that was just being jealous, probably thought I was some spoiled rich kid or something.

probably. I never went to Uni so I can tell you from experience retail experience is no experience at all and for alot of cool jobs less experience is more because supervisors and bosses can't be fucked with drones with their own ideas how things should be done.
My advice is do one cool summer job. Something really out there and then be vague about it on your CV every interview I've had since I got simply because they wanted me to explain what that job was and how i ended up there. Once you have that foot in the door all you need is to seem like a chill dude.
