Literally the only language that any robot needs is Japanese
You don't even fucking need English, do they make anime in English? Japanese is most important imo
I'm taking my first Japanese class this year and I can't wait until I can fully transition
Easiest for an English speaker would be Swedish, but I speak German, and it helped me learn Farsi because I got the basic skills down

Not all robots are into anime.

B-B-But anonkun what if I don't watch those kawaii annie maes like you. Japanese seems cool anyway but kinda complicated for me right now.
Spanish, Portuguese, French, or German.
Most other languages are either really hard for an English speaker unaccustomed to learning new languages, or they're of very limited utility (only spoken in like one country).
I'm german and I imagine going from english to german (or dutch) wouldn't be too hard. Biggest problem are the articles (der die and das instead of only the).
But man, just try a language that sounds good to you or that interests you.

articles are fucking horrible

it's never easy to learn a language (I mean to actually learn in order to be proficient, not "learn" as they do in academia and schools) but it will probably be comfortable enough for English speakers. Spanish is probably easier but also more boring
