Been pulled over pretty often for old registration. Never got a ticket, because I'm a poor bastard and I sell the excuse of a poor bastard pretty well.

Here the cops have lasers / machines that automatically capture your license plate if they are behind you. So riding with one and speeding will be hard to get away with unless you sped past them on the move since they always hide on the side of the road covered.
Riding with suspended license here = jail, impounded bike 30 days, and big fine. I wasn't stopping here.

...what happened next? I've seen too many kids from highschool who talked about those mock trials and shit. At least two vanished before graduation, one confirmed killed by some wannabe thug.
Since I live in the netherlands, it isn't uncommon to get randomly overwhelmed by a disgusting reek of weed when walking through a residential area. There's very strict laws on growing weed and that reek usually indicates a tenfold violation of the maximum allowed limit of grown weed. I've probably reported 9 or so instances of these. Cops love me.

The trial wasn't terrible. It was quick, but you had to wait in a holding pen with everyone eligible for court that week wearing handcuffs and chains around your ankles.
As for life: I moved into the basement spare bedroom a few days later. I didn't talk to them very often for a few years.
I was violently depressed so I ended up losing a chance to get into my state college. Got a food service job. Had to live with them until I was around 20.
Moved in with my sister for a few months, then moved into an apartment with friends.
Now I'm taking various STEM courses at community college to transfer into an eventual chemical engineering degree. Things are ... ok. Parents/Insurance paid for therapy for a few years which helped.

Well in my case i ride a 135 HP motorcycle so it's incredibly easy to out run the police, especially when i can lane-split.
I've been in the drunk tank a couple times. In all cases I had started drinking again after several months of sobriety. I've smartened up since. Now I drink regularly in small doses.

I used to street race on the highway in my undergrad years of college. You have to be smart to get away from the cops, not fast. In my case, they were always after like 4 or 5 people and some retards get off and take the alleyway. Closest I've been to getting caught was when I got off the highway and turned on a busy street, the cops were right behind me but there was a drunk driver too. He had to prioritize.

I got stopped by some cops gunpointing me when finished watching the midnight feature. Turns out someone else robbed the entrance booth from the cinema I was leaving. Description of the culprit were "black hood jacket and Mediterranean looking (aka turk mudslime)".
I learnt my lesson and threw that old jacket, since it made me look like some cheap gang scum.
- Once got stopped while peeing drunk in a street corner. They took my contact info and said a fine of 50 buckaroos will come to my mail. It never came, thank God.
Only run-in with the law I had was drinking in public. My friend was on probation for doing this repeatedly though, so he was sweating bullets when the cop ran our IDs. However, he wasn't a prick so the cop let him off with a warning.

I get stopped by police quite a bit while I go out on walks. Most are pretty chill, and ask me things like, "Everything okay? Where ya headed?"
But I have had a few run ins where 2 or more stop by and ask me for my I.D. (I don't have one), and make me list off all this shit.

This one's kind of a winding story that takes a while for cops to get involved in

Anyway, I somehow ended up not getting in trouble with my mom at all, she just made me promise to stop smoking. And I did stop, because that shit was making me retardedly paranoid and anxious even without all that shit going on.
My biggest mistake was talking to the cops at all. It was obvious I was anxious and lying about something, so they just assumed I was guilty. That lady could have fucked my shit up that day if she decided to press charges.

I was placed on probation under the condition that I had mandatory mental health care from a court-approved forensic psychiatrist INDEFINITELY, took any medication that he prescribed me including being chemically castrated, was restricted to the city I lived in and could not leave, and had to report to a probation officer every little move that I made for a year. If I stepped out of bounds again I was facing 20+ years in prison and a several thousand dollar fine that I had no means of paying. They were so lax on me because I had half a dozen doctors agree that I was completely incapable of knowing the consequences of my actions at the time of the crime, even the prosecution was kind to me.
