Damn buddy, that's young for a parrot. They usually live a lot longer, even in the wild it's a lot longer. Vet will probably fix him up right. It's really difficult to take care of those things though like 7 years isn't even no where near enough to build trust with an animal like that sometimes.

He's just a parrotlet, their life span is effy but usually is around 10-15 years. Some people has them up to 30 years though.

10 to 15 sounds low. That's the amount of time it took me to earn the trust of one of those animals. That creature isn't a dog or cattle. People haven't been dealing with one for as long.
I know the one that was years of earning trust with was easy for other people. I've delt with some other ones and it can take a while for it to clique well why if this guy is suppose to be nice is he fucking biting me?!

he likes eating, sleeping, and getting petted still. I'm going to just keep him as comfortable as possible until he either passes in his sleep from something giving out or something like another stroke robs him of his mobility completely. As long as he is still eating well, can walk, use catbox, ect I will keep him going. The vet has yet to give a recommendation to put him down yet, If he does I'll do it but until then he will continue on.
