>have deep voice
>nobody will ever know
>have naturally deep voice when talking to myself out loud
>get squeaky cuck voice in public because of anxiety

I know this emotion
> naturally have a deep, bold, room filling voice that cuts through charter and ambient noise
> suffer from childhood trauma and speak in a weak bitch voice when I'm uncomfortable, which is 90% of the time
>>28702132
>>28702219
Why does this happen anyway?
>>28702132
I too experience this feel
>>28702374
Because other people cause a fear response in us. Our deep voices incite a competitive instinct in others, causing in higher levels of aggression and intimidation aimed at us. So as to be more passive and submissive we use a higher pitched voice as to cue that we aren't attempting to compete.

>have a deep voice
>people have difficulties understanding me because I speak so quietly
>speak louder to the point where it feels to me as if I'm shouting
>people still respond with stuff like "huh?"
how in the fuck.
While I do know the feel of "higher voice in public or around strangers/bad memory places/whatever the fuck else, a big problem with me is that I've had that issue ever since I was about 10. I really don't know if my voice is high or deep.
It seems to change between both, but even when it's deeper, it still sounds high.
Probably just means I have a low test high pitched voice or whatever, but you know.
>>28702484
>speak slightly louder
>it now counts as shouting
it sucks being so autistic that you can't even tell how loud you're speaking
>>28702484
It's because you mumble
I've had a couple head injuries and I've noticed I tend to either slur or string together words, or speak quickly
I like to read out loud to practice not talking like that. Think about clarity and articulation. Normally I might say cleridy or ardigulashin instead. Understand?

>have a deep voice
>be short
>throws people off
Usually really short girls have high voices and tall ones have deeper ones. When I speak over he walkie talkie at work they mistaken me for my male manager some times, fml senpai.

>Our deep voices incite a competitive instinct in others, causing in higher levels of aggression and intimidation aimed at us.
>say something
>immediately sense hostility from other dudes
>>28702749
I'm the opposite. I'm tall for a grill, 5'10 or so, and yet my voice is high and quiet.
>tfw no one can understand me when I speak
>>28702484
>Normie: hey anon how are you
>Me: good
>Normie: what?
>Me louder: good
>Normie: WHAT, SORRY I CAN't HEAR YOU
>Me: GOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!! (I feel like I'm shouting and I hate it)
>Normie: WHAT!
>just end up giving a thumbs up
I hate this feel
>>28702883
these are bad feels
whenever someone askes my name (which is Ryan) it comes out as wayne because my voice is very low and i have trouble pronouncing Rs
after a while i just got tired of it and now go by wayne half the time
>>28702940
God damn I fucking hate all Ryans. Every single one of you is an insufferable prick.
>>28702775
Capped because it's true
>>28702991
i will not argue with this
>>28702791
Stuff like that makes it really difficult for me to interact with girls. Im already really awkward and quiet girls are usually the ones that like me and I can never fucking understand anything they god damn say. God damnit.
>>28702791
>I will never be a tall girl
off topic, but being short sucks as either genderespecially so when you're a short male who wishes he was a tall female, so two things you can never be rolled into one
>tfw tranny
>tfw even gay guys have higher pitched voices than you
just fuck my shit up senpai
>>28702459
It's actually because your voice only sounds deep when there's nothing to compare it to. When you actually talk to people with deeper voices, it sounds squeaky to you.
>>28701975
>highschool
>befriended librarian, would talk to her during recess
>speaking with her about some book while a normie from my class enters and hears me speaking
>"OMFG A MIRACLE"
>w-what?
>"ANON YOU ARE TALKING? I THOUGHT YOU WERE MUTE???"
fucking normies you just have to ruin everything
>>28703218
Voice pitch does vary, it's quite observable.
>>28703218
Strange, i find that my voice sounds much lower when talking with other people.
