There is a market for it and also live businesses in western Europe who undertake this type of work. Their main clients are people who have acute illness.

I might set up my own illegal voluntary euthanasia clinic. If someone's given up on life, I can guarantee them a quiet, painless death with some sort of drug or gas. I bet I'd make a pretty penny doing it.
