I did everything society told me to. I now live on my own, have decent cash, lots of friends, nice hobbies and all that shit. I have yet failed to acquire the only thing I ever truly wanted, ever since I can think.
A girl by my side. I know it sounds stupid but really I'd give everything I have for an honest, sincere and true romantic relationship.
I've tried time and time over again and all I got was humiliation, getting used and heartbreaks. Nothing is fun anymore.

Just having a certain mindset can be very powerful over your emotions, character and actions. If life has steered you in the wrong directions, gave you false hope and dreams just so you would get this far, why not attempt to take it into your own hands to learn and discover different aspects of what it is to live.

It is possible to let go of these notions and desires, but it's not something that is easy to explain. Some of them do trick themselves for a while, but others are genuine. It is a possibility, I believe you cannot see it as one because of your current mindset and reasoning. To be either way is fine, I'm just offering answers for the possibility where you don't manage to find someone.

Certain desires and expectations burn away at a person, it's all that is on their mind, their actions become solely to achieve said desire. They feel as if it would complete their life and give it meaning. This is extremely dangerous for people build delusions over these desires and then when they face the reality of the situation everything seems hopeless and pointless. I do believe you romanticize relationships and companionship.
To actually answer your question now: I'm talking about the aspect of letting go, learning to appreciate different aspects of life. There are people with all different types of mindsets out there, often as a result of their environments and influences, but they still think and do differently, have a different purpose. My suggestion is to explore things, read some philosophy, spirituality, just to broaden your horizon and give things more meaning as a result.
I'm suggesting to educate and explore your misery for it is possible to still be the same physically but be content with yourself and seek more from life.
I know this sounds like hippie shit, that's alright. Just my two cents.

Well I think so but because of our society it's easier to become isolated and think that the world is against us.
I'd love to live in a society where when you see a person like this everybody try a little bit to get him to try new things.
There is also a factor of mental illness, depression is no joke.

Life is hard, it's definitively not fair, but it has little things that can make me happy, therefore I must try to find these things and try to get them. Of course some people have it easier but we don't get to choose, it's like you are a character in a videogame either you grind to get to the good parts or you don't play. Thats why i think people should try stuff, and if really you hate the game I mean just kill yourself, I don't even think thats a cowardly idea desu just do your best to assure yourself that you hate every part of life.
