How many of you guys have gotten out of a NEET situation? I'm 26 with no degree and no serious work experience, and the need to get my shit together hit me pretty hard recently.

That always pissed me off. People will shit on someone for working a cash register at some burger place but the higher up managers/franchiseowner/corporate people deserve way more for working there and register chump should be working for slave labor. at the supermarket there were three of those machines (plastic bottles, glass bottles, and cans) where you put in your bottles and get a nickel per bottle. it prints out a receipt and then you give it to a cashier and they give you cash. but the machine doesn't accept certain brands (this is important later)
so anyway, i was working nights (only shifts available) and after i swept out the back rooms i had to unload the recycling machines and place the bags out for when the garbage men collect.
i hadn't been in the recycling room all day, and no one told me, but some guy had brought literally 300+ beer bottles to recycle, but the machine didn't accept them. so he just went home and left all of them sitting in the four shopping carts he brought with him.

anyway long story short, i didn't leave until like 3AM because i was too busy sweeping up all of this glass. i took a bunch of it with me too. i went home and edged for hours. no one ever said anything so i thought i got away with it.
a couple days later, there's a hit and run in the parking lot. big long dent on the fender. it's the manager's car that got dinged, so they actually take it seriously. he doesn't know when it happened, so they start going through security tapes.
my supervisor calls me in and shows me the footage of me smashing all of these bottles. i was there for several hours. him and the manager start interrogating me about why i did it.
i couldn't say it was my fetish so i just kind of laughed it off and said i was just messing around. they said it wasn't funny and that someone could get hurt and they'd have to worry about lawsuits.
so they made me finish out the rest of the week. i wasn't even allowed near the recycling, i was just rearranging produce for two days.

There's too many people out around midnight for night walks. I prefer walking around 4:00 AM, where you can see a little bit of light peaking over the horizon, then when you're finished wandering, the sun will be rising and you'll turn in. Not really, was a pretty awkward kid/teenager. Had acne, greasy hair, didn't care about how I dressed for most of high school. I did have friends here and there though, so over the years I slowly cleaned myself up and became more social.
I did lift for 2 years after near the end of high school, but that didn't really increase my confidence that much, it helped, but was not a catalyst.
When I moved nobody knew about my past and I just presented myself well while slowly working on my social skills. With practice I got better at doing normie shit like getting girls, dancing, talking to strangers, etc.
Now I'm sorta an average joe, but am not bad looking and am getting in shape again, and as I my social skills and looks improve I can fit in with normies better and pick up qts.

I found it just comes with experience and practice, just watch normies do and slowly go with after some time, alcohol and/or other drugs help too.
As you get more used to it you'll get more comfortable with it and can pick up more complex moves, key is to have fun with as well.
