I've been loved by a few animals, does that count? By loved I mean depended upon to provide food and shelter.

pretty fucking great, dude. I spend time with this really wonderful girl who is sad ad fat but a really great person and she can't get enough of looking at my face and touching me. He is right. Everything is your perception so logically it depends on stimuli you recieve but those stimuli can be perceived in various ways which is a question of personality variables.
In short you give meaning to things and that means you could feel romantic love from staring at wall but it would be hard if you dont have some mental illness to tell your unconscious mind that it is so. You are just too sane for that.
