I had that problem but then I found out that ISTP are generally cold hearted and prone to sociopathy and I instantly knew I was ISTP.
An INTP doesn't go out to a farm and shoot 15 birds to death and enjoy every single shoot with out most pleasure to the point where I was almost drooling and can hurt others feelings and get hurt without really caring to much.
So unless you like hurting lesser things and/or don't really get emotional you are not an ISTP.
