In my experience Xanax just makes you not give a fuck, and not in a good way. It's also horribly addicting.
Weed is pretty hit or miss in terms of dealing with anxiety though.
See your doctor for a prescription, don't self medicate. It won't end well.

xanax is a ton of fun especially in social situations and guaranteed best sleep ever but like these fellas said the withdrawals and addictions can be worse than heron. i get anxiety often and just smoke a few puffs and on i go. all drugs are fun in extreme moderation. weed daily is acceptable but not recommended
also xanax fun can be ruined by too much.
take .5mg 1st time tops and dont drink too much
over 1.5mg on low tolerance and you can black out for a few hrs...
