I think that the problem with our generation is that we have access to porn instantly, social media, forums, etc. And we start to have unrealistic standards about what life is supposed to be like in general. That's not just for the standard of "hotness" of the girl/guy you choose to date, but also for careers and friendships. Porn has ruined sex for boys, and Disney Movies/Romantic Comedies have ruined romance for girls. Just a generation or two before a young man worked in a factory or in construction, with the occasional exceptional students who went on to be doctors, CPAs, and attorneys. You would date and then marry the cute girl on your street and grow old together. I'm over simplifying, I know, but our generation is spoiled. We all feel entitled to University, we all feel like we deserve more money, and we all (speaking for guys because I am one) feel like our quirky, smart, funny, cutie is just around the corner waiting for us; the truth is we probably deserve a lot less. We all feel sorry for ourselves when really we haven't a care in the world. The reason why most of you (us?) aren't dating an "average" girl is because we have abused our pleasure centers with casual porn browsing to the point that when an "average" girl is flirting, or attempting anyways, it doesn't register to you because last night you spent 3 hours watching Brazilian midget tranny fart porn. So you sit there and feel sorry for yourself. "I'm a robot", "I'm socially awkward", "Spergz", whatever, you're a pussy who is afraid to be uncomfortable for a second, or maybe do something hard. That's our problem we have it so easy that we literally blame our amazing, abundant lifestyles for our problems. So much porn that you're afraid of girls. So much food that you're obese.
