my drawing desk faces the darkest corner in my room. if i'm not using reference pics i find online i end up just drawing whatever is lying around so i have entire sketchbooks full of drawings of bottles, cans, pencils, and whatever.
i love painting but after doing almost a dozen self portraits i have nothing to paint but copies from things i find online. it's demoralizing.
now i just paint when i'm too drunk to stop myself.

im mostly doing studies and practicing, basic stuff like that
trying to nail down perspective before i going to the big bois like loomis or vilppu
as for what i like/hope to draw in the future when i get gud is that im super fond of the illustrations from childrens books/magazines/general media from the early 1900s, mostly childrens books. really like the naivety and general "feel" of the art. style is nice, too.
