essential feelcore
>where are you going... where are you going...
>>28631537
I always see this posted on /mu/ but never actually listened to it. Gonna put it on while I clean my room.

>But d'you think the end of the world is coming?
>No, so says the preacher man but I don't go by what he says
"A concept album, it revolves around the motif of male loneliness."

Thats pretty incredible anon, I'll have to find that album and give it a full listen.
Literally an album about feels
I'll dump some more for the non-/mu/tards

I listen to a lot of Springsteen during times like this, but I keep coming back to this one in particular.

Another one that I stare at the ceiling to. Pretty much every PfB album is feels incarnate but Leaving is probably the one that hurts the most.

It's about 4 homos who go to the beach together and talk about their gay day.

That made me laugh incredibly hard and I dont know why.
>>28631522
Another obvious choice

I can't really think of an album, but I can think of songs that make me think about life's tribulations. Or just make me feel nostalgic.

Fuck anon, those were good. I know what you mean though, most albums don't always make you feel all the way through.
I like the album this track is off of because its mostly upbeat, but this song always makes me tear up. I guess it just reminds me of all the people and memories I've forgotten, and how I'll never get them back.

this is more suitable for mourning the loss of a loved one

Fuck I loved Vertikal and Salvation but never checked this out - gonna have to jam it if it caters towards r9k

whenever I want to contemplate life in it's natural state, or when ever I feel like I've fucked up in some way.

This is my favorite Portishead album, I listen to it while brooding in the dark every couple of months.

Found these guys a few months ago, just chill and make you think about how you lost all hope in life..
Even the album cover is fitting

Good taste my dude

I always listen to this album when I'm REALLY depressed. Brand New is feels in musical form, probably the only good thing I got out of going to /mu/ occasionally.
I recommend Brand New to all robots. Listen to this album he linked and the one with the astronaut on the cover
Mad Season - Wake Up
Mad Season - River of Deceit

If you like pop-punk I'd recommend Joyce Manor. They have some upbeat songs but certain ones make you feel. Constant Headache is about finally having sex with the girl of your dreams but it still disappointing you because it isnt enough to make her love you, which is something that makes me die a little inside every time I hear it.

>that music video
holy fucking hell anon I wanted to feel not commit suicide
>>28633988
I can't handle the feels after watching that music video holy shit
it's exactly what I've been feeling lately, ever since I left school everything seems to be so fucking empty. fuck wage slavery.
>Time by ELO
It's very pop-y, but it reminds me of something that makes me happy even though the album is kind of sad.
Another true feels album. Written by a guy who moved to iceland and coped with the isolation by writing songs.

I'm only posting nothing, nowhere but the "Astari" record label/yt channel has a lot of "feels artists".
I saw him live last year and I almost cried when he played this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sh5mWzKlhQY
I knew the song was sad but with the videoclip it just floored me.
>>28634402
I dont know why but any sad song with footage from the inside of a car makes me feel so much worse than either of them alone.
>>28634465
r9k is literally trying to kill me now
>feel like shit
>listen to music that makes you feel even worse
>vicious cycle
How about no. Yeah, this is stupid, but I find it makes the feels go away

Tried making a good feels music thread yesterday and no one replied. Feel free to post some happy albums though, I can always use them.
>>28634806
This guy cheers me up.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B4FSeeXUaE
better than souvlaki and definitively more feeley
I LOOVE YOOU JESUUUUUS CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIST
Loved it before I even discovered /mu/. It has the rare distinction of being both criminally underrated and overrated.
>>28632258
was looking for someone who posted amfootball. Great fucking album.
Makes me think about the youth I never experienced. I think this is what makes me gravitate to a lot of emo and math rock bands in the first place. As much as I like these genres they seem to be riddled with themes of regret, nostalgia, and I may go so far as to say arrested development. These genres are oddly comfy though, especially bands like amfootball who have more of a melodic, soft jazz-like vibe to them.
Put this album on at night and wonder were I went so wrong to end up where I am today.
Some anon linked this in a previous thread and it's wonderful
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufOE-i1BN7k
It can get heavy-handed at times, but it's a great album to feel to.
>>28636214
Nice taste. That album's easily one of my favorites.
>>28636181
Damn couldn't have said it any better.
