Is Facebook a dead social media platform? I am 23 years old with about 600 people on my friends list, and hardly anybody posts anything. The only people who post things are women with low self-esteem who desperately need validation. I rarely see men posting anything ever.
What's going on this with this? Did people stop using social media?

I don't use social media but my coworkers talk of using it pretty regularly. Might just be the people you're friends with, or Facebook's algorithm decided you don't get to see the interesting content anymore.

All I've seen for the last year are anti-Trump memes and people making very un-wise decisions by having children when they don't make enough money.
I have absolutely no social life, but I go backpacking, do photography, and make music. So I usually post that stuff to Facebook and all of the people I've known in the past interact with it.

Instagram is pretty decent. A lot of people post some pretty cool stuff on there. I like that because it's not as personal, and not just a big peacock/virtue signaling trainwreck like most other social media apps are.
It's dying definitely. All these "tweeks" to the feed for the past few years lined that out. Did you know every time you click "like"... you might as well have just hit "share" instead. They make all that shit public. As soon as my likes became public I stopped liking stuff. I used to have this friend who would like almost every picture of suicide girls and had no idea until I told him that all of us could see him doing that.
Now facebook has some weird timeline that inserts ads all over the place. It's a cesspool. I only have an alternate account now to make fun of Bernie Sanders faggots.

I like every public Trump post I see so it can displease bernie faggot's eyes, but they can't bitch at me in a mass horde because I'm only liking it. Also, Men who are 35-50 always "like" softcore porn photos of women without knowing that it's showing up on all of their friend's timeline. I imagine that would be pretty embarrassing.

Seems like most people moved onto phone applications for keeping in contact with people. kik, snapchat, instagram, and the like. I don't have a smart phone so I don't know them all but it is what I hear often at work.

I stopped going to Facebook after I read that it saves and records anything you type in the chat box, even if you delete it and change your mind.
The whole operation is fucking creepy as hell. The guy who runs it is a fish faced Jewish creep who looks like he crawled out from under a rock. The whole situation with Facebook is fucking weird. I only still have it in case I want to reconnect with some old friends in the future.
