GenV was my favorite gen. Pokemon World Tournament in BW2 was pretty fun for post game. Should be easy enough to try them out on an emulator.
Gen3 remake was okay, but the post-game Delta Episode shit is some of the cringiest shit I've ever seen in a vidya.

I agree completely. Black/Black 2 has usurped Platinum as my favorite game, and Gen V in general rocked. Gen VI feels like it lacked a punch, and the Delta Episode fucking sucked. I'm usually surprisingly invested in the Pokemon "storyline", but that was just confusing and boring. I never mash A on dialogue, and I did it for the first time ever with Delta.

I started with Gen2, so I have a lot of good memories about it, but I'm not going to pretend it didn't have its own flaws. Too many of the new pokemon were only available post E4, Kanto was severely underleveled, and there was way too much grinding. Best champion theme, though.
