I fucking hate how normies listen to Joy Division. This band is literally /r9k/: the band.

They have no fucking right to listen to this band. They should go listen into that normie tier shitty radio music
>>
>>28616495
same with the smiths, and maybe crywank.
>>
>>28616495
Indeed, I fucking hate how tumblr took them and they became a "le cool t-shirt" band
>>
>>28616495
ive heard the joy division has become normified, often by tumblr tier girls, but luckily i have yet to see it myself

I usually hang out every saturday night on a goth club, and everytime they play Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy and The Smiths, the dancefloor gets full as fuck. And it's mainly normies, fat SJWs and leftist liberalcucks (those are easy to spot) that are dancing to.

I fucking rage so hard
>>
>>28616606
i think crywank might be a normie himself tho

That music really sucks. Its not nice to listen to. Just screaming. Are you really so dumb you can only express yourself through noises, and not words with more subtle meaning.
>>
>likes bands
When the fuck are you people going to accept the fact that you're just like everyone else
>>
>>28617395
>really sucks
>not nice to listen to
Is this b8? 90's post-hardcore/screamo is just a little bit of the music I listen to. I enjoy it for its melodrama and sincerity, and its dynamic shifts tone, from chaotic to melodic, I guess. That record in particular is pretty much the earliest example of said 90's post-hardcore, so it's going to be pretty unrefined in regards to the attributes I described.

>not words with more subtle meaning
If it's subtle meaning you're looking for, that release is perfect considering the ambiguity of every lyric and the odd samples they include.
>>
>"I listen to stuff from the GOOD era"
Anyone listening to shit before 2010 is a fucking autist who needs to stop limiting themselves to shit taste
>>
>>28617568
No one said they only listen to music before 2010. No one said they listen to music from the "GOOD" era, fucking retard.

They don't.

/mu/'s big tripfags now are Montie, proge man, unty, and post avant MATH god, and xus has reincarnated himself as a retarded catspammer. The board's shit. It's for the best that you left, like you said.

>>28617867
You posted a retarded opinion. /mu/ talks about plenty of new music that's not Death Grips, and anyone that browses the board ought to know that. This month alone the board's been dominated by Beyonce, James Blake, Drake, and Radiohead.

Seriously how the fuck can you think that /mu/ doesn't talk about anything post-2010 besides Death Grips?
>>
>>28617936
>Beyonce
Christ, it's way worse than I thought.
>>
>>28617989
Yep. I only stick around for a few generals at this point. It's fucking horrendous.

>You posted a retarded opinion. /mu/ talks about plenty of new music that's not Death Grips, and anyone that browses the board ought to know that. This month alone the board's been dominated by Beyonce, James Blake, Drake, and Radiohead.
>Seriously how the fuck can you think that /mu/ doesn't talk about anything post-2010 besides Death Grips?
faggot I wasn't talking literally. I mean just as a generality when nothing interesting (good or bad interesting) is happening they talk about something called /mu/core
>>
What do people think of sleaford mods?
>>
>>28618015
/mu/core is a summation of the albums that are most often discussed and referenced, not the only albums that are discussed and referenced.

And only includes a few post 2010 albums because it's only 2016, and that's only six years worth of music and six years worth of time to determine what has a lasting impact on the board. /mu/core already has a few pending additions, like To Pimp a Butterfly and Sunbather, but we'll have to wait longer to actually see.

Your point was retarded.
>>
>>28618065
lemme reword the first sentence from the post you just quoted. I wasn't being all serious when I said they only talk about death grips post 2010. I mean they Mostly talk about pre2010 stuff because surprise surprise it's more established on the board. Sorry I would assume that someone wouldn't notice something so obvious
>>
>>28618170
>saying that /mu/ doesn't listen to any post-2010 music besides Death Grips is the same as saying they mostly listen to pre-2010 music
No. You can make excuses all you want but your point is retarded. If you were trying to make a very, very general rule, why'd you specifically include Death Grips but not Animal Collective, or Grimes, or Kendrick Lamar, or Drake, or Dean Blunt, or any of the other post-2010 musicians that they discuss all the fucking time?

What about Vaporwave, which has exploded so fucking much that even fucking normies listen to it now? Does /mu/ not listen to fucking Vaporwave either?
>>
>>28618283
negro I'm autistic as hell for falling for this bait
>>
>>28618322
>it's bait because I've been completely demolished and have no retort
Yep. You're right. For once I can definitely say you're a modern /mu/tant, through and through.

Say something entirely fucking stupid, and when someone calls you out on it, call their post bait, or them autistic.

I left that place to get away from you fucks but even here I fucking run into you insipid shits.
