/r9k/ servers:
Next month my startup will be dropping $3,000 on a good, modern home server. We want to host a couple services for /r9k/ and the community we have built as of now. Our services would be up 24/7, and be maintained and moderated daily. If you could recommend some games or services to host, what would they be?
So far we thought of:

>Counter Strike 1.6
Suggest games (preferably older) that would create a nice comfy community. If you know a game well, tell me if you'd be interested in helping and being a server admin, you'd moderate the server, be in charge of enforcing rules.

You dont need to have all champions. Hell i am Masters and i dont even own a single skin.
I have over 300k stacked ip but i dont use it since i play like 9 champions in total. I play over 25 games a day and i rarely even use over 4 champions. You dont need to have all 130 champions, because at most 40 of them currently in top meta. Plus if you wanna reach a high rank you need to focus on 1-2 champions.

"Maining" a hero/champ is literally cancerous play. What if the enemy picks a counter? What if your allies pick both your mains? What if your team really needs a support, but you only main carries? What if your team really needs a carry, and you only main supports? What if you already have two invis heroes, and you only main invis heroes?

So much facepalming. In high elos people know who you are the moment you get into lobby. You will ALWAYS get your role. And when you play over 200 games with 1 champion you will know that you can counter every counter.

I'm also a novice when it comes to DMing, mainly because the variant I play is completely thrown together, and had no 'ruleset'. It's just completely guided by the dice and anything can happen. I try to be a good storyteller though, and I'm working on making some light ruleset to guide combat, ect.
Bunkers and Zombies will be played in a group of four, preferably. There's really no campaign or goal or leveling system. You just try to survive, roleplay to create a good story, and collect rare zombie kills. The only 'leveling up' is learning skills and keeping them honed so you have abilities.
Four status bars:

>hunger
>thirst
>fatigue
Group supply units
>fuel (to burn)
>ammo (pistol/shotgun/rifle)
>gas
>deisel
>water
>food
>building materials
>morale
Will likely be simplified.
