Who /antinatalist/ here?
Pretty much any other viewpoint on reproduction is a normie mindset.

I don't want to children, if that counts. It's not even because of some nebulous fear of over-population or out of hatred; I just don't feel like I'm in a good place mentally to have children.
I think if I ever managed to get a girlfriend, it would be a deal-breaker if she wasn't unwilling to have children. Ideally she'd be infertile, actually. Though I might just get myself snipped when the time comes.

That counts, I suppose. The idea is that you wouldn't want to force someone into a life of wageslavery and misery, thus continuing the vicious cycle, on this bleak rock.

No nothing like that desu. The world has it's problems but as long as you're not born in a war-zone, you're life is already better than the 99.(99^999999.....) other humans that have existed. Even then it's not that bad if you could ever find a way to escape. Even then since when has not giving birth fixed issues not related to birth?

By giving birth you're just creating another pointless existence that will inevitably suffer and die. Life is a twisted game not worth forcing someone else to play.

Everything dies. If the child doesn't want to live then it's free to kill itself. The fact that most humans abhor the thought of doing so is proof enough that they each find something of worth in life.

A 2012 study cited by Pew Research center found that an estimated 78% of women with bachelor's degrees, and 65% of men with bachelor's degrees who married between 2006-2010 can expect their marriages to last at least two decades. Women with a high school degree or less, on the other hand, face a meager 40% probability of their marriages surviving the same period.[37]
Just make sure to get an education, which is a pretty solid way of increasing one's long-term income.
>there's literally people who lie about how babies make everything better "eventually"
Meh. I can certainly see how they make things worse 'immediately.' However don't forget that for a long period in human history children were more like social investments. If you had children and raised them well, you could reasonably expect them to take care of you in your dotage.

In the modern day, that hasn't changed all that much. Middle and old-aged people still require younger workers to fund their social security paychecks, not to mention work at their businesses. In a socialist economy, you still wouldn't be able to rely on 90 year olds to pick cotton just to feed the community either, so it's not like the statement (children make everything better "eventually") is completely a lie. They technically do after all.
>when in reality babies just cost a shit ton of resources, money, and energy
Long-term investments like I said.
>not to mention how the baby isn't guaranteed to be healthy nor make you proud
1) Every year medicine gets better. 2) You're going to need to strictly define what criterion are necessary to make a parent proud. For a long while just not being born gay was enough for many people.
Last post is up next. I hate these character limits.

I'm just not certain I can see what one has to do with the other. If you accept that each individual life has value then I don't see why the existence of other ones would cause that value to diminish. Are you somehow inherently worth less as a human being just because you have parents?
/pol/ here
you have to have babies to preserve the white race at any cost
it doesn't matter if you are beta bux and your wife openly cheats at you, it doesn't matter if you have to take care of someone else's spawn
you have to do it to save the white race and it's future
I wouldn't be surprised if antinatalism is a jewish invention by jews as yet another means to reduce the white race in numbers - drop by drop.
At any cost
I want to bring into this world atleast 5 children precisely because it's a world of misery.
Since when did robots become "boohoo muh earth, muh population, i dun' want chiwden becuz world is meen"?
Can't wait until my son complains about a Chad bully or him getting arrested for burning cars in neo-revolutinary protests and me going to bail him out.
