is being vegan for normies or is it robot tier?
>>
It's not inherently either.
>>
>>28593532
I agree! upboateeeeed
>>
eating lentils all day every day is robot-tier
eating morning star veggy patties and almond butter on whole grain toast is normie-tier
>>
I've noticed there are a lot of us on this board. At least 5. I have a big tray of french fries going into the oven and I'll likely be batching my lentils, for the next few days, tonight.

being vegan is normie tier

eating vegan is agnostic
>>
>>28593936
So have I
It definitely seems to be a somewhat robotic trait
I'm guessing that it's because we're too aware of all of the pain in the world (that same awareness that keeps us locked in our little cocoons) and don't want to contribute to it. That and I think robots are less apt to care about food and subsequently be tempted by it.

I'm super veganbot, but I know a lot of super normie vegans too. Hell yeah lentils. Gonna make some snobby joes.
>>
Most normies kill and eat animals, so that's a normie thing to do. Vegans are much better than normies.
>>
>>28594021
How long have you been? 12 years vegetarian (I still ate things with milk as an ingredient) until I moved out and now almost two years fully vegan. Spending my days now getting fit so I can help dispel the weak, french fry looking, b12 deficient skeleton myths
>>
>>28593623
why is the one reasonable response in this thread mocked?
>>
vegans are like 90% girls so its a good route to pussville

its also the right thing to do to be desu
>>
>>28593642
this

if you're a frugal NEET your diet should already consist of cheap ramen, beans, oatmeal and water
>>
>>28594212
>tfw vegan for a decade and soon to be professional athlete
Fuck normies. Vegan masterrace.
>>28594238
>tfw when I was in my teens and somewhat new to veganism, 90% of my friends were girls for this reason
>>
>>28594238
>good route to pussville
waaaaayyyy too robot to even pull that off.
>>
>>28594296
Vegan girls love vegan guys. Even if you're awkward or beta or whatever, just being vegan will attract a lot of girls.
>>
>>28594327
I've been vegan for almost 15 years now, but I've been a short ginger for longer, so I lose.
>>
>>28594212
I was raised vegetarian with a milk allergy, started eating meat when I was 16 or 17 (maybe a bit older), very rarely though and only fish. I'd phase in and out of full veganism from there, I guess a lot of it was situational. Now it's been about two months since I've had any dairy, and a lot longer since I've had meat but not sure how long. Trying to keep it consistent this time around.

Really wish I had never satisfied my curiosity, it was way easier when it was a complete unknown.
>>
Vegan here to its weird I didn't know there were others on r9k.
>>28594327
I've been vegan for three months and don't have a gf yet how do you explain that?
>>
>>28594251
I think you mean tendies

But you do take b12 supplement, right?
>>28594238
Won't it turn off disgusting meat eating girls? I don't know of but the idea of kissing a grill and sucking meat out of her mouth is gross to me now.
>>
>>28594484
I tend not to take them but I have them. I drink my fortified almond milk and get it there
>>
My only gf was a vegan, so I can confirm that it is easier to attract vegan girls if you are a vegan*.

*I'm not, I just pretended to be.
>>
>>28594409
It's only been 3 months. You'll meet vegan girls, anon. Give it time. If you want to speed it up, go to vegan meetups or vegan potlucks or something.
>>28594390
Stick with it, anon!
>>28594438
Skier.
That looks fun, I've never ridden a unicycle.
>>
It's lower case Omega female shit, bruh.

>It's only been 3 months. You'll meet vegan girls, anon. Give it time. If you want to speed it up, go to vegan meetups or vegan potlucks or something.
I'm too much of a robot to do that. Going to meet ups is what normies do. How could I stand going to one alone. Are you insane
>>
>>28594920
What kind of city are you guys in? 80,000 here, I work in a salad store so we rarely have people come in and order our vegan options. I don't think there are very many here.
>>
>>28595014
I think my city has a couple million. I know there are vegan meets here but I'm a shut in. How could I go there by myself and break into the already established groups.

Robots have compassion for all animals big and small
>>
>>28594296
being passionate about something like veganism makes you more interesting, motivated, 'alpha' in your decisiveness about certain topics and so forth

in other words good way of breaking out of the r9k mentality
>>
>>28595092
the online vegan community is still dominated by girls, maybe look for meetup or just general socialisation via that

being vegan doesn't make you a pussy magnet, esp if you're a shut in, it just increases your chances in general
>>
>>28593642
>not eating lentils AND occasionally meat
step aside
>>
>>28595880
>meat
gross
>>
>>28593505
my gf is vegan. she doesnt pressure me but i watched some sad videos about what goes on in placed where meat is "farmed" and i realized I would like to distance myself from all the animal torture.

should i go vegetarian? i want to morally, but im lazy with food preparation and im worried i wont eat enough or healthily enough. anyone have advice?
>>
>>28597022
>my gf
nice bait faggot kys
>>
>>28597022

Try just eating less of it and buying from more moral sources if you can. Some people do still raise their animals the old-fashioned way. You can eat meat once a week and be fine, it'll just be a matter of replacing everything else with veggies, nuts, fruit, and mostly grains. Look up the list called the Daily Dozen, it'll give you some strong recommendations on things to stuff your face with for the rest of the week, and you can build recipes and shit from there.

If everyone did this the "meat farms" wouldn't persist. The problem is that the world in general and America in particular is crazy for meat and they can't make enough to satisfy everyone's appetite without the warehouses.
>>
>>28593505
its the most normie health trend ever

robots dont care about fitting in, cyborgs do "veganism" is just another outlet for conformity
>>
>>28597168
i appreciate the info. that's what i was thinking. if i go cold turkey im likely to not be able to stick to it. if i have SOME meat but try to choose veggies when possible, im contributing less to the problem.

thanks :+) ill try to start looking up recipes and take charge of things.
>>
>>28593505
being vegan is good, if that's what you're asking.
>>
>>28593505
Neither it's cyborg territory

>what is a cyborg?

An individual who is a part of a popular subculture that has friends and a social life and maybe even a bf/gf, but they are all utterly fucking weird or autistic or something. They don't hang out by themselves sitting alone in the corner of a food court/cafeteria or just staying in their parents' house for decades at a time, but they're also not part of normie culture.

I'm a former vegan
>>
>>28597200
>conformity
The norm is to not be vegan still. I don't know any vegans. I don't even have friends, vegan or not. What exactly am I conforming to? I did it for health.
>>
>>28597447
See how this is now about you? because it cant just be the idea, it's "What about me? I'm vegan, I'm so awesome and better than you"

The reason most people are vegan is because its a trend, it gives you a white version of street cred and you want to be better than everyone without trying harder than anyone
My sisters were vegan for 2-3 years and then they stopped getting attention for it and gave up and they also got dangerously underweight and felt shit
"I did for health" is silly, why do you tell everyone about it if you only do it for health? Because you want the moral high ground which you only get in normies eyes,
I imagine most robots will have read hours of shit from both sides and realise non vegans are right and you are not actually ethically off the hook or any healthier than I am.
See what I did there is talk about myself as you would and have, you now have to argue about my specific choices not just the ideas of veganism
>>
>>28597891
I don't tell anyone dumb fuck. I didn't make this thread and I don't talk to people irl.

Go vegan. We digest plant calories much more efficiently than animal calories. Allow me to explain.
Plants leave the body in a matter of hours or at most 24 hours. Animal products like meat, dairy, eggs and shellfish can take up to a week to be excreted. While animal products fester in you in the bottom of your digestive tract, they release toxins into the body called free radicals. These free radicals contribute to disease and unwanted weight gain. When you stay vegan, there's no free radicals and you feel healthier.
>>
Veganism is everyone tier. It's also the perfect diet for a neet because it's much cheaper and more sustainable.
>>
>>28598024
>I dont have friends
>Therefore I dont have to argue against any of your points

"Dumb fuck"
