Do you remember your first month on 4chan?
I'm getting nostalgic thinking about it. 4chan used to be such a magical and exciting place back then

>reading new comics and laughing at reaction pics
>some people seem so smart and they must know their shit about this particular subject we are discussing
>read countless of infographs
>read engaging, happy or sad greentexts
>discuss or just watch others discuss the great questions of life
>feel like I found a whole new world and I'm already part of this community
fast forward 6 years and I can't fucking stand this place. 4chan is the bane of my existence. nothing new happens, people regurgitate the same old opinions, and I just can't care about any of these threads. 4chan is literally fucking worthless. I've outgrown /b/ in a year then spent some time on /fit/, /tv/, /sci/ and /r9k/. this board was my home tho. loved /r9k/ for the greentexts and the interesting people, or outsiders I could relate to. now it has devolved into pure autism, hate and post-ironic humor.
I want to get off this ride.

it was generally a good time. I did other shit too, but instead of browsing 9fag or facebook, I came here. and I feel like it was a constructive, good way to spend my freetime for a while.

I think it had to happen. I just wish I could leave now. I've gained everything I possibly could from 4chan. it's just a shit, depressing way to procrastinate now.
