My average solving time is 40 seconds (pros do it in roughly 10 or less), but let's round it to a minute to include the time to apply the specific patterns to each cube, which means it would take roughly 14 hours to assemble all of them. Put another two hours in to correct any mistakes and pile them up neatly, another 8 hours for the conception of the idea, construction of the image in Photoshop and any other thing I might have forgotten (excluding the shipment time for the cubes) and yeah, it can be done in a day. I'm glad the girl didn't fall for such a petty declaration of love.
