I am fucking awful at math. I struggled through college intro to statistics last semester but still made a B. I haven't past any other mass class since like pre-algebra in the 8th grade.
I am great at everything else though.

Bro I didn't know anything past pre-algebra when I took the ASVAB, totally bombed the math portion of it and still got a 77. It was good enough to make me available for 95% of all the jobs available in the Navy.

I've been contemplating this too since there's not much else I'd be able to do. I've been using khan academy to get the gist of basic algebra but I have trouble with even that at times because I've the attention span of a 5 year old. Perhaps if I just keep practicing, then I can comprehend algebra I, II, and geometry enough to score well on the asvab.

Anyone else have trouble following plots in movies and TV-shows?
It's worth considering that the way math is taught, is usually complete garbage.
I was in algebra 3-4 during my senior year of high school, and seriously worried that I wouldn't pass. I was referred to a certain teacher, who, in thirty minutes, made me understand algebra well enough to pass the final.

I'm not actually sure. I like to read up on all sorts of subjects, but feel like I don't have an original opinion on anything. Most of it seems to stem from books, movies, or other ideas. It's easy to sound "smart" to normies just by regurgitating ideas you've come across.

Same here. The funny thing is that when I was younger I could follow the plots perfectly and later explain the plot to others without problem. I was even able to anticipate the plot.
Now I just can't focus. I can't read books or watch movies. I have to put a lot of effort to do these tasks.
