Anon from rich family here. It really depends, but I think that if raised properly (that is, not spoiled beyond comprehension and neglected by parents too concerned with making money to properly raise their children).
I'd like to believe I'm following in my father's footsteps career-wise, hard working, self-motivated, frugal, moderately well-adjusted, etc.
But my brother... he's a NEET, can't manage finances, generally irresponsible, can't really take care of himself, and doesn't have many friends because he's burned bridges with them all.
I'd argue he was the brighter of of the two of us growing up, but he has a colorful history with drugs now that I think has really screwed him up. But it has nothing to do with how he was raised - just ran into bad influences as a teenager, and my parents (and even I) had no idea until it was too late for them to make a difference.
