I'm not earning Megabucks, but not a Wagie Slave either.

I earn 57.4k a year in dollars before tax and work as an electronic engineer.

It's enough, but I still find I spend most of it on rent and stuff like that.

It's not that difficult to find jobs - look at apprenticeships, they often require little high level qualifications or much experience and will give you useful experience and knowledge.

It is not true money is the key to getting women. I'm not fat or disabled or too ugly but I still don't have women crawling over me.

I'm /wellpaid/ ($70k a year) but still a depressed, virgin loser.

would you rather be a depressed virgin loser that makes 5k a year?

come on anon, you can't be that naive. that's barely above median salary. women only want above the 90 percentile
and save that cash so you can retire early. it's definitely worth it, especially if you have no friends so money isn't necessary

Assuming he's living in the US, it's above the median personal income, so I'd say that's well-paid.

That's above average? I am making 45k, and I'm just wageslaving.

Maybe it'll get better, but like a wise man said, never serve one master for too long.

If they won't raise my salary I'll just move on to something better while cashing out union benefits (almost the same as my salary) or start my own business while I'm working my job and quit after it catches wind.

I make 30k as a programmer in Spain, which is decently above average. That said, actually cultured, educated people don't make that much here.

The people making a lot of money (aside from politicians, bankers, CEOs and such), are guys who have a car repair, plumbers, and other self-employed blue collar jobs who rob you blind for their services, pay and recieve their deals under the table, and do all sort of creative accounting to avoid taxes. That, or nouveau rich country bumpkins who have inherited some lands (that 2 generations ago would have been worth nothing), so they suddenly start showing off with their BMWs thinking they're some sort of elite upperclassmen.

In short, most of the actual wealthy people I know are not of the intelligent, ruthless businessman/lawyer/career-focused engineer type, but simply picaresque, uneducated people who thrive because of amorality and a sort of refined street-smarts.

$120-130k/yr, I'm self-employed (consulting), it took me about 5 years to get there with some breaks.

It's wage slave lite because I can't blow off clients and meetings completely, but if I want to get a massage and train in the middle of the day, or go to a different city for a week, I can.

I wish this was a meme. I changed majors to become an engineer (fresh chemE graduate, getting job offers around a similar pay as yours) and I have not had sex since I went to school for it. Women don't really like engineers unless youre in that six figure range. They must find us vapid or something it's a red flag unless were buying nice shit.

I'm 6'2" and not fat. I had six sexual partners after losing my virginity at 18 years old in 2 years. It's been 2.5 years now since I've had my 7" dick touched.

This retard posts in /britfeel/ too, and he's lying out his ass there as well, how much he earns seems to change month to month.

No mate, an unqualified 19 year old would not earn 40k, it just doesn't happen. The closest I know is perhaps my friend who studies accounting and earns 20k / year age 19. It just doesn't make any sense, no one would be brain damaged enough to pay a 19 year old that much. You've got to realise 22 / 23 year old investment bankers with 4 year degrees from ICL or Cambridge start at around 43k / year to work 70 hours a week.

Lol wtf is a best city? Your city has all the same costcos and walmarts and ethnic culture as any where else the only difference is that you are paying a premium. Move somewhere with LCOL, save at least 50% of your after tax income, and retire early
>>
who /88kbeforetax/ here?
>>
>>28577942
60k base here, although if you onclude soft compensation like bonus, 401k match and health insurance paid, its closer to 70k. I started 9 months ago and it was my first real job. Should be getting a raise in the next few months.

I'm only saving about 750-1000 per month though. While my loser friends are saving more at their easy minimum wage jobs because they live with parents and have no expenses. So its a wash I guess
