Saying "Maccas" is easier, you move your mouth less, because when you say the "cas" part of Maccas, you say it as your mouth is closing, after pronouncing the "c" sound. Mac-D's (or whatever fucked up-world that came from) requires you to open your mouth twice, with the second time being to make the "d" sound.
