As faggy as it is, take up a vaporizer. I was a pack+ a day smoker for about 6 years. Once I got this thing I was done. The original goal of these things wasn't dank clouds, it was to quit cigarettes. Give it a try if you can't quit cold turkey.
Protip: buy loose tobacco and some rolling papers. It will last a hell of a lot longer than a pack of cigs and is WAY cheaper. Also the lack of a filter in the cig (unless you add one yourself) will make the nicotine hit you much harder.

I went a week cold turkey but relapsed, I managed that week using quit smoking with alen carr probably could have done this with a few more relapses

found out a ton of people made juices now and I really like aniseed so I looked for a good one, got some just for the flavour and to see if I could quit on it
really nice juice puffed on it for the whole day and realised I didn't have the urge to smoke until the morning, had a few drags on a normal cig I think my last pack was pallmall
no satisfying feeling in the lungs from smoke as it was weaker than the vape tasted dry
put it out after a few drags and never touched a pack again

I honestly never had the issue of running out at night like this like I did with cigs, since it's so much cheaper in comparison and you get more out of it for the same price.
A pack of 20 wouldn't even last me a day and a half, for that I could get 3 small bottles of e-liquid that would last me a week since I don't do sub-ohm.
I don't plan on stopping nicotine, mainly because I have mental health problems and it really helps curb it, so this is the lesser evil for me.
