Is having a sadistic personality really that bad?
I think most people would score high for schizoid if they lived the life of a robot for long enough. I think it could be a coping mechanism of sorts, trying to justify living the sad life as "i prefer to spend time alone anyway" while becoming number and number the longer it goes on.
