So /v/ tells me I've been living under a rock all this time and befriending children is weird. No I'm not talking about molesting or things like that, befriending. Why is this weird? We all were children once, we were all friends with other children once. I like children. They don't make fun of my social anxiety. They don't make fun of me for being scared of people. Children are the only friends I've ever had. I'm worried now. Is society one day going to come to my home and tell me I'm a pedophile because all my closest friends are 12 and under? It's not fair.

Whether you want to fuck the kids or not, of course people are going to think it's weird that you're incapable of making friends with adults. If you have more in common with 12 year olds than people your own age, there is something wrong with you. Even if you were a female it would still be considered very weird if you exclusively had relationships with children and called them your friends, although less people would make the assumption it was because you wanted to fuck them.

Mostly video games. Children tend to like ecelebs and "normie" games like Call of Duty. All the children I meet I meet at a therapy clinic my mom runs so they all have disorders and stuff. Actually I tend to get along really well with ones that don't get along with anyone. My mom basically made me agree to take care of them when their parents offered. Really I think she just looks for excuses to get me out of the house.

I'm with you OP, hanginh out with kids is the best. I love facilitating exploration and expression, helping them achieve their goals and watching the learn and grow. It's very rewarding. Also, hope to stave off the meatgrinding of personality through education.

Well this girl is unusual even by the standards of the school. Let's call her CH. CH is really violent. She screams no at every opportunity, hates working, hates people, is not potty trained at her age which is gross, and is mentally closer to 5 than her actual age (9). Her dad is never around, I don't know the situation there but I've been to their house over a dozen times and only seen him once. The mom has 2 other kids and is not finanically able to handle it. She leaves them with her parents but doesn't take CH because she will break things. And I don't mean "oh look she broke a cup, how cute" sort of breaking things, I mean grab something large and blunt and smash apart tables and throw picture frames at walls. She is destructive. But! She also really likes games. They have special games on the computer designed to teach children with behavioral issues. I threw that stuff away and introduced her to Counter Strike and Gmod. She LOVES Gmod. In the way that autistic kids play Minecraft for hours on end she will play Garry's Mod. She never really liked Minecraft as much as most other kids there, probably because she likes instant gratification. I even showed her how to use the workshop.
