To explain, some snails stab eachother with cancerous darts (love darts) before they mate. And it's not like they put it into a sex organ, they literally just stab it into the other snail. The purpose of the love dart is that it has a mucus on it that does something to allow more sperm to reach the place where sperm is stored

I'm pretty sure they stab it into the fleshy bits, while most of the organs are mostly in the shell. Keep in mind I'm no snail expert, I'm basing this off of wikipedia articles and memories of my high school oceanography class
