There were positives, like her having the most wild expressions on her face while fucking her---a look like she has totally gone blank in her mind and is lost in the fucking. She would also do strange adorable things, like watch videos of puppies on youtube and start crying because they were too cute for her to handle it. Baby animals in general would make her go "awww" and start crying.
But no, not worth it for, you know, the who unstable part of it. Being stable is an important personalty factor in a relationship. There's still mascara on my pillow underneath its pillowcase, because she cried a lot, for various reasons.
1 year apart, and I hear she's still crazy, still seeing a psychiatrist once a week, so she hasn't gotten any better. I think its good that she left me, because I never would have been able to leave her.

She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at a young age, but I think it's closer to BPD. She was also very savagely abused as a child, so add PTSD on top of that.
The final straw was the postpartum depression from our son. She just kind of lost it. She realized it though, so she left as not to damage the kids/hurt me anymore.
Probably the most compassionate thing she's ever done.

Yep, 10 years with her destroyed parts of me, but I'm doing much better. It's only been about 5 months so I'm expecting a happy future ahead.
I have full custody, she lives in a different state. I'm trying to keep up a friendship with her for the kids sake, but the back and forth is difficult sometimes. We had a 3 hour conversation about getting back together in the future the other day.
