Field engineer. It wasn't my dream job initially, but it turned out fucking righteous. I work alone, I travel for work, my supervisor lives across the country and we only speak once a week. Even that is my choice, I do it to keep up on the news in the company.

I work hard, but it feels different because it's my hours. If I want to sleep in and work late, I do. If I want to leave early, I do. As long as the job gets done it doesn't matter how I do it.

Never working in an office building again. Fucking never.

And getting paid to travel is fucking excellent. 30 total hours door to door to South Korea on a Saturday? That's overtime bitch. That's essentially an entire week paycheck just to listen to podcasts and take Xanax on a plane.

Honestly, anon. I've been working in Kitchens for 3 years (dishwasher to respectable cook over 7 kitchens). If you really think you want to be a cook, spend a year working in a low grade kitchen before you try to educate yourself. There is a mindset and physical stamina to being a good cook, and education will fill you with a lot of information that conflicts with the actual conventions of being a cook.

I quite enjoy being a cook but I don't want to do it forever and I have no plan to go to school for it. If it's free, I wouldn't turn it down, but make sure you are comfortable with the industry before you sink a couple years of your life into schooling.

Does a recent auto loan lower my chances for a credit limit increase/getting a new card? Or is it a positive, since all payments are on time? If a negative, how long does it take to be a positive?
>>
>>28523827

It depends. I'm not sure how computers view it, and not all banks are equal. If anything hurts you about an auto loan it's if you went to 50 dealerships looking for the best rate. Each dealer will run your credit and that's an inquiry.

However any human looking at a credit report is retarded if they can't instantly tell what sort of inquiries those are. They're very obvious and I don't hold it against someone because that's just how it is. Also the credit reports count 10 inquiries on the same day as basically 1 inquiry for that reason.

As for pay history more is better. But a auto loan isn't a credit card so it doesn't help quite as much as you might think. When I as a human am reading a credit report what I care about by loan type are seeing

Unsecured credit cards > store cards > mortgages > secured cards > autos.

Not sure if it helps as much for what you're asking. It's complicated to explain all that I'm looking for.

Love to be an armed guard someday, but the only problem is that you need to be a cop for a few years first. I can't be a cop, which is why I'm security guard, SO IT'S AN ENDLESS LOOP.
