If a colony was established quickly and was successful with a lot of resources thrown at it I wouldn't be surprised if I got paid to go on a tour there someday for my job with my current skillsets and qualifications. Although how quickly one gets built is like a decade of time, not to mention it'd probably take another decade or two of investments unless something extremely valuable resource or scientifically speeds up the process.
