Why does no one sit next to me on the bus?
Even when I set my bags in the overhead, on my lap or under the seat, people never seem to sit by me when lots of them are standing. Sometimes I'll make a gesture or even call out to a person that they can sit next to me. Sometimes they obliged me, but most often not, they say "That's okay" and keep standing while awkwardly losing balance and holding on to disgusting germ infected hard plastic support poles.
I've posted my actual looks on /soc/ and I usually, get rated a 6 on average, 8 the best one ever, and 4 the worst one ever, so I guess I'm pretty average looking. I don't know why it bothers me so much though.

I think, this could be way off reality, that as they see you average. They instantly put you a number, and they take for understood that you know your "number" and how it works, so you give them a number too.
What i want to say is that they think you think you have a chance (even if you do have a chance) and that they did rather sit right to a fat ugly person with 0 chances than sitting next to a potential approach.

The other day I got on the train and sat down next to this woman; she immediately got up and sat across from me, it was the quickest anyone has done something like that in a while, I was so confused.
I didn't smell bad, I don't look homeless, there was enough room for the both of us and I didn't even make eye contact with her when I sat down, it legitimately happened in the span of 5 seconds.
I find it so funny how people, and women specifically, will go out of their way to avoid someone, it's so primal. It's like they perceive us as some sort of threat and I want to know why that is. Idk about you, but I don't care if someone I'm sitting next to looks average, hell I've even sat next to some homeless people and didn't give a shit. Start by fading in the arch point of your eyebrows into a more rounded shape to avoid looking like a villain. Shave all of that facial hair.
