As a person who experienced both sides of the spectrum in my teenage years (seclusion and socialization) I can tell you that the fun parts are terribly fleeting. Driving around shooting the shit with friends and getting fucked up at a parties, but when it's over, it's over, and you only ever crave more fun and more assurance that people like you. It ends up being a cycle where you're not doing anything important other than wasting money and subjecting yourself to social situations that you don't even like, just for the sake of keeping your buzz going, as well as the contentment in the fact that doing so makes you a "normal" person.

All the people down there are constantly on the go doing their own thing, nobody ever bothers you unless it's some tourist asking for directions, and there are tons of places to go to.
