What happened to Terra after she transformed into the Esper later in the game. I literally missed out on everything after that point. It's sad.

Good taste. It was the only one I really enjoyed.
Never gave a fuck about VII really, VIII was garbage. Gave up on the series after that.
Chrono Trigger was better than VI though.

Haven't played it yet; it's waiting for me on my SNES emulator right now. I really liked Chrono Trigger, so I'm hoping I enjoy this as well. About how long is the main quest? Does it have as much grinding as FFIV? (took me about an hour of grinding to beat Zeromus)

It's easier than IV as far as I can remember. not a lot of grinding required, especially if you plan to abuse spells like Ultima later in the game
