So as a child I was never socialized, never had anyone to I could trust outside my immediate family, and still don't. I'm trying to get out of my shut-in robot lifestyle so I like to try to message people from /soc/ with common interests and try out some different techniques and shit. Any advice? They still havent messaged me back and its been over a week, but I don't think I did anything wrong did I?
What's there to do on /soc/? I mean really. You've got your niche sexuality threads, and your hookup threads, but other than that is there any actual discussion?

Always say whatever comes to mind, no matter what it is. Never think twice, never overthink. If you can't think of anything to say, try harder and force yourself. This will be difficult at first but eventually it will come naturally.
