Does anyone want to play Borderlands 2 with me?
I'm not very good at RPG games but it seems easy enough that I'd enjoy it. I played a few hours of the first one and had a good time. I'm looking for someone 18+ who's willing to let me watch the cutscenes and read the dialogue. I want to play the game properly and not rush through it.
Is anyone interested? Co-operative games can be some comfy if you've got someone to play with. We don't have to use VoIP if you don't want to.

It is, isn't it? I'm learning japanese just for the heck of it. It's too damn hard for me to go there to work. There are no working holiday visas for my country. I'm not a native english speaker, so I can't go there to teach. And I don't work for a company that has an office over there, so I can't be transferred. OP here. I have 11 friends not including the people who've added me so far. I just want some robot pals to play games with. In the past I've been lucky enough to meet robots who seem like they actually belong here. They're normally pretty polite, quiet, and fun to play with. Not always the best at the games but neither am I. Some are really awkward and have a difficult time talking to people but that's okay, I'm just looking for some other lonely people that want to play games together and just enjoy them instead of spamming memes or talking about normalfag shit or their scores or whatever. But people like that are so hard to find. Most of the time when I've looked for Steam friends or Skype friends (back when I used it) everyone seems like such a pain in the ass and half the time are barely 18 years old if even.
And it makes sense, because normalfags are more social and more likely to participate in threads like these. Most robots don't want the attention which sucks because it makes them so hard to connect with.
I just want some fucking friends to play games with. ;_;

OP and all participants in this thread- as a friend I should make sure that you know that this is entirely pointless. You will all talk to eachother for a few minutes to begin with. Maybe you'll talk again the next day or the day after. Maybe you'll play a game. But that'll be it.
The vast majority of these end in failure. Forcing a friendship over something as shallow as videogames or loneliness does not work. Always ends up with two boring faggots not knowing what to say to eachother. You're either talking to someone who never really has anything to say or tries to continue the conversation, or you're talking to someone who won't stfu as he vomits up a stream of onscreen diarrhea about his life for 20 minutes a time.

The best part of visiting Japan probably was the feeling of truly travelling, seeing something new. I felt completely ruined before going to Japan, it was so different from what I was used to, it really struck me. The landscapes and monuments were beautiful, and buying 100 yen onigiri from convenience stores was just awesome. Hunting for Pop Melon in vending machines was fun too. Also Akihabara is even more unreal than what we imagine around here, like, there's no escaping Love Live and maid cafes (protip: it's fun going there for the sake of it, but don't waste your money there. don't.)
On the other hand, the feeling that unlike in western countries, you'll never be able to integrate japanese society is somewhat saddening. You'll always be a "foreign element". Even Tommy Lee Jones is not safe (and he's been around in Japan for years. Yet he's still "that weirdly funny american" for them )
